Every Friday night the trap range starts about 7:00 pm.

This is for practice and league shooting.

Open to the public, family and friends are welcome to attend, all ages and skill levels too!!!

$4 per round

 SHELLS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

         

DO NOT throw live rounds into garbage cans or burning cage!!! Dispose of properly! This should not even be an issue and should be considered a common sense item...

Trap League operations...

**You must pre-pay the League fee when you sign up to shoot for the League. This is for ages 16 & over. Those shooting Youth League (15 & under) may pay weekly.

For 2014 Winter League, it was $60. This fee is equal to the $5 you pay for the 12 weeks of shooting. This fee is Non-Refundable! No Exceptions!!!

For the first 2 weeks of League a practice round will be permitted. After this 2 week mark, only League scores can be shot and there will be no further sign-ups for that League. 2014 Summer League puts that mark at June 27, 2014

During the League Shoot Off, it is for League Members only and food will be provided to those shooters... 

 If you are interested in joining the League, please stop at the Club on Friday evenings to sign up or contact Frank Kinney at 724-263-0200.

RIFLE/PISTOL RANGE 

ONLY MEMBERS are to use the rifle range; guests of Members are permitted to use the range. Please remember to be responsible when using the range, clean up and lock the gate behind you... and do not drive onto range, use the parking lot!!! Please dispose of garbage, shell casings, etc. into provided barrel (no live rounds). Do Not Shoot Sandbags!!!

 20 target course set up as a practical hunting situation course

 Scoring will be 10, 8, and 5.

 

  • Small ring(s) are 10 points
  • Mid ring is 8 points
  • Outside ring is 5 points
  • Any shots out of the kill zone are a 0

 

All shots are to be taken from the target number stakes set in place.

Bows & crossbows are permitted

ONLY MEMBERS are to use the rifle range; NON-Members cannot, even when accompanied by a Member, our insurance will not allow it. You MUST possess a gate key in order to use the range, you must use the gate and not come down over the hill. Please remember to be responsible when using the range, clean up and lock the gate behind you... and do not drive onto range when wet.

GATE KEYS
Gate keys are $5 and can be obtained on Friday evenings from an Officer or Board Member, the fee is refunded once the key is returned. The gate key fee is not refundable if you lose the key, you will need to pay the $5 fee for a new one. Gate Keys are for MEMBERS who want to use the rifle range; pistols can also be used. In January of 2013 we will be changing the lock on the gate. We will issue new keys to Members who have an old key, the old key must be turned in and will be checked with the old lock. We will announce when the lock is changed
